Movie Night

Project 52: Date Nights logo

We watched Inglourious Basterds for date night this week. We subscribe to Netflicks. We have had this movie for over a week now. It is a longer movie, 2 hours and 33 minutes. We never seem to have the time or energy to watch such a long film. But this movie was very action packed and I didn't have to worry about falling asleep during it. We enjoyed the movie. Parts of the movie were funny and many were violent. It was a very typical movie for Quentin Tarantino. The plot was interesting. Nice to see Quentin rewrite WW II. Tarantino has quite the imagination. And let's face it Brad Pitt is not bad to look at either.
Dave thought this date was a little uneventful so we had a bonus date night the next night. We had another spa date. This project has been great. We are finding ways of reconnecting. We are doing more things together. There are less nights when one or both of us are online and not really talking. The internet is great way of connecting with others when we are alone but we remember it is important to connect more to the ones right there.

This is date 7 out of 52 for us. Go to Simply Modern Mom to join in on the fun.

that's a great reminder to connect with the people we can actually see. Your design is beautiful and thanks for stopping by this a.m. Hope to see you again.

I really like this date night idea. Once a week for 52 weeks, that might even turn into a habit. the Lizard King and I really need to try this once he's home for good.

excellent review. I haven't seen the movie and was wondering how it was. I admire that Quentin revels in his quirkiness and tends towards the unexpected.

We saw it a few weeks ago and I thought it was well done. I also thought Christoph Waltz was a well deserved Oscar nom.

Spa date? Sounds heavenly.

Love your date night projects. We need to work more on ours. Like being in the same vicinity on a Friday night!

I concur - We find we are talking more too. There was even one night last week where the computer stayed turned off - and the world didn't end.

Thanks again for the tip off xo
