Surprise Fun

We were stuck inside due to Hurricane Sandy.  The kids started driving me batty, so I surprised them with this.

They had lots of fun and it brought me 30 minutes of quiet. 
I'm very thankful the hurricane did not effect us much. We loss power for only 5 hours. I pray for all those whose homes were damaged and the brave first responders trying to help.

Fall Biking

Unfortunately we don't live in a biking friendly neighborhood.  So when we go to visit my parents, we take advantage and the bikes.

I love seeing Caitlin become a more confident bike rider. We just need to get her to use the brakes, rather than dragging her feet to slow herself down.

Davey sticks his tongue out when he concentrates. It won't be long before I take those training wheels off too.

Pumpkin Town

We made our annual trip to Pumpkin Town. The kids love posing with the pumpkins.  I have a feeling this may be our last year.  I think they may outgrow it next year.  So this year I enjoyed them posing with the pumpkins.

Cone of Shame

 Poor Maximus had to have a mass removed from his eyelid. He is doing fine but seems so sad in the cone. He only needs to wear it for 14 days! Yikes.

Soccer Happiness

Watching Davey play soccer makes me happy. Not having to coach this year (after 2 years of coaching) makes me even happier.

Tailgating Fun

 We got tickets to see UCONN football on Saturday. The band was in good form.

 Our seats were excellent.

 The most fun is always the tailgating though.

 Cheesy dip! Yummy! We made omelets for breakfast and steaks for lunch/dinner. I should have taken photos of those. They were impressive.

It was a fun date. We got to see some good football, eat good food, and hang out with good friends too. This is date 8 out of 52 for us.
